Job description:     METSO MINERALS, belonging to Metso, is the world leader in manufacturing equipment for materials processing. We offer our customers quality equipment (crushers, screens, etc…) while offering a wide range of services. As part of our development, we are now looking for a Distribution Supply Chain General Manager.

Reporting to the Vice President Supply Chain, you are responsible for distribution centers in Europe / Russia / Middle East / North Africa. You drive the logistics processes, procurement and inventory management to achieve group goals while meeting customer needs and optimizing costs. You implement business processes across your area by following the group's strategy. You define, pilot and evaluate the project "footprint" for Europe and Russia.

In collaboration with other departments of the company, you ensure the satisfaction of your internal and external customers. You negotiate with key suppliers to obtain the best possible service. Searching for continuous improvement, you realize the benchmark of best practices in logistics and supply chain. You control costs by ensuring compliance with the budget for your scope of responsibilities. You guarantee the performance and the motivation of your teams.

The position is based in Europe or Russia but your work includes 70% of traveling in Europe / Russia / Middle East / North Africa.

Requirements:    
You have a degree in a relevant field and more than 10 years of experience in managing the supply chain and logistics. You are committed to quality customer service, whether internal or external. You have experience of use and optimization of ERP, preferably SAP. Furthermore, you communicate fluently in English and are willing to travel a lot.
