Husqvarna Construction Products, a division of Husqvarna AB, a world leader in machinery and diamond tools for construction and stone industries. The range of building products includes power cutters, floor saws, tile and masonry saws, wall and wire saws, demolition robots, core drills and diamond tools for these and other uses. The stone product range includes a number of diamond tools for quarries and stone processing.
Headquartered in Jonsered and production takes place at some 10 factories around the world.

Now we are strengthening our organization in Jonsered with a Global Product Manager for our range of floor saws and tile saws. As the Global Product Manager You are responsible for the business area always has a competitive and profitable product offering, well suited for a global market.
You report to the Category Manager, Construction Equipment.

Your details
* Strategically responsible for global product portfolio (identifying new opportunities and gaps)
* Actively monitor the environment to quickly identify new trends in customer behavior or preferences, competitors' activities, legislation etc to ensure that the product range is ideally suited in the future
* Determine and ensure optimal implementation of in-and phase-out of models and variants in both the global and the local product portfolio
* Ensure that all products are in line with the brand's position, quality and design guidelines
* Meetings and reports at Productadvice where heavier product decisions
* Global responsibility for produktsortimentets margin development
* Identify customers' future needs, trends and preferences.
* Establish product (the R & D)
* Strategic pricing by region and settlement prices per market
* Responsible for launching new products
* Identify the needs of marketing communications materials and activities and draw up brief to agency
* Educate sales companies on product and its use
* Responsible for the preparation of operating manuals

Your qualifications
We expect you to have a university education, engineering or business administration. You have experience of working as product manager. Experience in construction machinery industry is a plus but not a must. Furthermore, you experience, and feel comfortable with, both commercial and engineering tasks.

Experience of working in a global business with its own financial responsibility and management experience (direct or in projects) is required.

We assume you have good IT skills, speak / write English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing, communicating clearly and have good presentation skills.

As a person you are driving, independence and operational. You like structure and clarity and are responsible. You have the power to make decisions with good penetration. We also assume that you have good logical analytical skills. You see the big picture, but can also go down to the level of detail when required. You may also want a practical skills and would seem natural to demonstrate your products.

At Husqvarna Construction Products in Jonsered office, 1 mil north of Gothenburg.
